Tap dancing is most generally associated with the films and musicals of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. At The Stage Factory, you'll find yourself tapping to all types of music including jazz, blues, big band, jive, Broadway and even hip hop! Anyone at any age can have a go, and in a very short space of time you can gain a real sense of achievement, as well as having fun and getting fit! Children's classes follow the ISTD syllabus but also include free work. Our adult tap group regularly perform alongside the children in their shows. Tap is incorporated into our "Stage Babies" class along with modern and singing.
